I lived just a few blocks away from the oldest Shipley's at 3932 N. Main Street in Houston, and this location became the focus of a photo series I created, capturing its vibrant night scenes. During my senior year of high school, I often studied at the Shipley’s on West Gray and Dunlavy. It was always a lively spot, full of people from all walks of life. I’ve got a soft spot for Shipley’s—it’s more than just donuts; it’s a piece of home.
